Shil Sondagar

Shil Sondagar has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years. Shil began their career in 2000 as a Software/Hardware Engineer at Nortel Networks and Alcatel-Lucent. In 2001, they moved to Lumic Electronics Inc. as a Software/Hardware Engineer. In 2003, they took on the role of Application Developer and Project Coordinator at Destination Ontario. From 2004 to 2014, they worked at Complete Innovations Inc. in various roles, including R&D Development Manager, ScrumMaster, Senior R&D Developer, and Senior Systems Developer and Business Analyst. In 2015, they became the Director of Development at SurfEasy. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Director of Engineering at Symantec. Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at COSMO Technologies since 2020.

Shil Sondagar began their educational journey at McGill University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry in 1996. Shil then enrolled at the University of Ottawa, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General in 1998. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa in 2003.
