Christian Herold's work experience starts in 2006 with TUI, where they worked as a Moderator and was responsible for the sport management of club resorts and organizing dance and show evenings. In 2008, they joined BMW Group as a Kundenberater and also had a position as a Praktikant. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at BAUR Versand, first as a Teamleiter Mobile Services and then as Teamleitung Mobile Services & Strecken Online. Christian then worked at empiriecom KG as the Head of Team Product Development & Devices from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Division Manager Customer Experience at Cyberport. In 2018, they moved to Cyber Solutions GmbH as the Division Manager Customer Experience. Christian joined PURISH GmbH in 2021 as an Advisory Board Member. Since 2019, they have been working at cosnova GmbH, first as the Director Consumer Experience & Engagement and later as the Director Business Development New Venture Hub Berlin.
Christian Herold attended the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Digitale Kommunikation und Medien/Multimedien. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, studying Jurastudium, allgemein.
In terms of certifications, Christian Herold has obtained several. In 2016, they received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2013, they completed a certification in Strukturieren großer Datenmengen (Excel) from GRUNDIG AKADEMIE für Wirtschaft und Technik Gemeinnützige Stiftung e.V. Additionally, they received a Sprachzertifikat from Instituto Cervantes in 2010.
More recent certifications include Innovating Customer Experience from Forrester, obtained in November 2022, Forrester Certified Pro - CX II obtained in January 2021, and Forrester CX Pro (CX-I) obtained in January 2019.
