David Dancer

David Dancer has extensive work experience in various IT and management roles. David started their career as an IT Support Services Manager at Hytec Information Security in 1995. David then moved on to Oxford University Press, where they served as a Service Desk Manager and Change Manager. After that, they joined Hitachi Capital as a Group IT Service Desk Manager.

In 2008, David joined Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., initially as a UK General Insurance Service Measurement and Reporting Consultant, and later as the Group IT Service Management. David played a key role in supporting local country Service Delivery teams, managing IT projects, and producing service reporting.

David returned to Oxford University Press in 2013, first as a System Support Manager and later as a Global Operations Implementation Manager. David then transitioned to the role of Global Technology Process Manager Lead, responsible for operational management, design, and documentation of ITIL Service Management processes.

Most recently, David worked at Costa Coffee as a Global Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead and Global IT Audit & Controls Lead. In these roles, they supported the development and implementation of the Governance, Risk and Compliance framework, managed stakeholder requirements, and ensured the proper implementation of SOX controls.
