John Boyd

John Boyd is a retired programme and project director with significant experience in the construction and engineering sectors. They served as Programme Director for Network Rail works and as Project Director for the £400 million Greater Manchester Waste PFI Scheme at Costain in 2013. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at David McLean Contractors, overseeing projects in the education, commercial, and residential sectors from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, from 2001 to 2005, they held the position of Rail Director at Galliford Try Construction, managing various railway infrastructure projects. John earned a B.Eng in Civil Engineering from Liverpool University from 1978 to 1981.
