Rob Tombs has extensive experience in the construction industry, having held various positions in prominent companies. Starting as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Midland Oak Construction Ltd from July 1989 to November 1992, Rob progressed to Senior Quantity Surveyor at Willmott Dixon Construction from March 1993 to September 2002. Following this, Rob served as Managing Surveyor at GB Building Solutions from September 2002 to July 2008. Since July 2008, Rob has been the Commercial Director at Costain Group PLC. Rob holds a Higher National Certificate in Building Studies from Coventry University, obtained between 1991 and 1993.
