Simon Cathery

Simon Cathery is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE with over 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering consultancy across the transport, energy, nuclear, and water sectors. Having worked for notable companies such as Costain, MW Kellogg, and Transfield Worley Limited, Simon has led mechanical engineering delivery for complex projects, including those focused on Energy Transition and Hydrogen. Since rejoining Costain Group PLC in 2023, Simon also assumed line management responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Materials & Corrosion Engineering team. Simon holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
