Jerry Geist has extensive work experience in automation engineering and quality assurance. Jerry began their career in 1988 as an Electronic Engineer at Kaman Electromagnetic, where they were responsible for designing control systems for electromagnetic machinery. Jerry then moved on to Thermo Electron in 1994 as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they designed and tested electronics for explosive detection and chemical analysis systems. In 1996, Jerry joined GenRad as a System Engineer, focusing on hardware and software testing for automated test equipment. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Infinium Software, where they validated printed circuit boards. Jerry then joined ADP in 2002 as an Engineer/Manager of Quality Assurance, where they played a vital role in developing and sustaining a hosted tax calculation application. Jerry transitioned to Nokia in 2009 as a QA Lead Engineer, responsible for the development and delivery of backend RESTful services. From 2013 to 2015, Jerry worked at PayPal as an Engineer, focusing on continuous deployment processes and environment management. Jerry then joined Data Intensity in 2015 as a Manager of Automation Engineering, where they improved cost efficiency and developed automated solutions for customer environments. Jerry joined Vestmark in 2016 as a Staff Engineer, where they used automation tools to enhance the quality of wealth management software. Their most recent position was at Cotiviti as a Lead Automation Engineer, where they designed a system test framework and contributed to test case assets.
Jerry Geist received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in 1986. Jerry then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management at the same university from 1995 to 2000.
