Stephan Jacob

Stephan Jacob is the current Founder & COO at COTOPAXI. Stephan has an extensive and accomplished work history, having previously worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company from January 2007 to December 2009. Stephan then took on the role of Visiting Associate at Bain & Company from January 2006 to December 2006. Afterwards, Stephan worked as a Software Developer & Commodities Trading Intern at Bunge Limited from January 2003 to December 2004. Stephan's most recent previous position was as Founder & CEO at Kembrel (acquired by Bottica/Wolf&Badger) from January 2010 to December 2013. Stephan's first job was with Hochgebirgsjaegerzug 231 (Special Forces / Mountain Infantry Battalion) from January 2000 to December 2002, where they held the title of Corporal.

Stephan Jacob's educational career includes earning an MBA in marketing/entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, as well as an MA in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania - The Lauder Institute. Stephan also completed a master thesis on information systems and mobile technology in organic agriculture at the University of South Australia. Finally, they earned a master's degree in information systems from the University of Mannheim, where they also completed their undergraduate degree in economics.
