Sarah Cobain

Sarah Cobain is a seasoned archaeological professional with extensive experience in post-excavation management and archaeobotany. Since April 2010, Sarah has served as Principal Post-Excavation Manager at Cotswold Archaeology, previously holding roles as Post-Excavation Manager, Senior Environmental Officer, and Environmental Officer, focusing on plant macrofossil and charcoal identification and analysis. Prior to this, Sarah worked as a freelance archaeobotanist and site supervisor, overseeing significant excavations in Orkney, and held various supervisory and assistant roles across different organizations, including Irish Archaeological Consultancy Ltd and Archaeological Development Services. Sarah holds an MSc in Quaternary Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BSc in Geography from UCL.
