John Link

John Link has a strong background in sales and risk management. John began their career as a Sales Executive at USA Today in 1990 and worked there for eight years. John then transitioned to Lamar, where they served as a Sales Manager from 1998 to 2000. In 1999, they joined Cottingham & Butler and held various roles, including Sales Executive and Vice President of Risk Management. As VP, they worked closely with companies to identify and resolve risk exposures, ultimately protecting their assets and interests.

John Link attended Dubuque Wahlert High School from 1982 to 1986. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Iowa from 1986 to 1990. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services. John also spent their undergraduate years at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, earning a BBA degree in Management. Additionally, John specialized in HR and International Business during their time at the University of Iowa.

In terms of additional certifications, John obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes in March 2002.
