Mark Shelton

Mark Shelton is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at Couchbase since April 2018, Mark leads growth initiatives in the disruptive database market. Prior to Couchbase, Mark held the role of Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Skyport Systems, overseeing global sales and channel strategies. Mark's tenure at Skyport also included a significant period as Head of Sales for the Western region, achieving accolades as the top revenue producer and new logo acquisition leader. Mark’s earlier experience at Cisco spanned over a decade, where Mark advanced from Account Manager to Regional Sales Manager, notably increasing sales by $116 million. Mark began the career at Arrow Electronics, where Mark significantly exceeded sales quotas. Mark Shelton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from California State University, Chico.
