For too long, our local press has been overwhelmingly run by large national publishers, whose bottom line has severely impacted the services communities receive. Now it's time to change the game.

CounterPress is built with two groups in mind: The creator and the community. For the creator, the tools necessary to build, run and market a regional outlet without restrictive overheads and red tape.

For the community, a platform that serves local needs and interests, without invasive advertising and with the reader always put first. Believe in a better future for regional sports writing.
