Sam Ward

Sam Ward is a software developer at Countfire since July 2022, previously serving as the Head of Research and Development and Senior Engineer at CCell from October 2019 to July 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Engineer at Atkins from January 2017 to September 2019, where significant contributions were made on offshore wind turbine foundation projects involving dynamic and fatigue analyses using Bentley SACS and DNV SESAM software. Sam Ward also completed summer internships at Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre in 2015, focusing on mechanical engineering, and at DriveWorks in 2013, concentrating on software engineering and Augmented Reality applications for CAD. Sam Ward holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2016.
