Country Boy Brewing was founded in 2012 by four native Kentuckians with a passion for great craft beer. We pride ourselves on making minimally processed beers with high-quality, real ingredients. Our passion for great beer shines through in our core brands: Cougar Bait American Blonde Ale, Shotgun Wedding Vanilla Brown Ale, Cliff Jumper IPA, Halfway Home Pale Ale, and Country Light — the Country Boy take on light beer.

Since our original opening in 2012, we have expanded to four locations, including our original taproom. We opened our largest production facility and taproom in Georgetown in 2017, followed by our taproom located in downtown Louisville in the Omni Louisville Hotel. Most recently, we opened our newest facility located inside PKL Lex in July 2025.

Along with our four taprooms, our brews can be found in eight different states: Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, and throughout the state of Florida, including Walt Disney World.
