Abir Kar

Abir Kar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and operations across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Principal Program Manager at Coupang since December 2020, Abir previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer at SATS Academy, where strategic business plans were developed in collaboration with the CEO. Abir's tenure at Flipkart, spanning from March 2015 to April 2019, involved integrating supply chain operations in the East Zone and implementing optimization models. With a strong foundation in operations management, Abir also contributed to Vedanta Resources Plc as an Associate Manager, focusing on plant efficiency and risk management. Abir holds advanced degrees from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the University Engineering College, Kota.
