Alejo Murillo

Alejo Murillo is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Proactive Security at Coupang since November 2020. In this role, Alejo leads a team focused on Red Team operations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Threat Detection to enhance organizational security. Prior to Coupang, Alejo held several positions at Cisco from November 2015 to October 2020, including Head of Red Team and Senior Principal Red Team Engineer. Alejo's early career includes roles such as Red Team Lead at Portcullis and Penetration Tester at Oesía, with foundational experience as a Security Consultant at Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad. Alejo earned a degree in Ingeniería Superior, Informática from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2002 to 2007.
