John Dempsey

John Dempsey is an experienced professional in business development and brand management, currently serving as Head of New Business Development and Head of Brand Management at Coupang since September 2022. Prior to this, John was Sales Lead for Amazon and Wayfair at Belnick from January to August 2022. John held various roles at Amazon from April 2017 to December 2021, including Head of Vendor Management for Wireless Devices and Accessories and Senior Vendor Manager for Education Supplies and Janitorial & Sanitation. Additionally, John worked at CVS Caremark Corporation as Category Manager from April 2012 to April 2017, overseeing multiple General Merchandise categories across thousands of stores. John began their career at Staples in several roles, including Associate Category Manager and Merchandise Planner. John Dempsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Connecticut in 2007.
