Johnny Lin

Johnny Lin has extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and journalism, having held roles in both government and the private sector. At the Democratic Progressive Party, Taiwan, from November 2004 to January 2006, Johnny served as a Public Policy Specialist, focusing on China affairs, and later as Deputy Director of the China Affairs Department, also acting as a spokesman. In recent years, Johnny has progressed in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Legislative Affairs at Coupang since June 2025, and previously as the Public Affairs Associate Director at Synera Renewable Energy while convening the Public Relations team for the Taiwan Offshore Wind Industry Association. Other noteworthy positions include the Director of Public Affairs and Communications at Taiya Renewable Energy, a Senior Reporter for 遠見天下文化事業群, and a Senior Correspondent for 中國時報, with a strong emphasis on cross-strait relations and international news coverage.
