Rui Wu

Rui Wu is a Staff ML Infra Engineer currently working with the Search and Discovery team at Coupang, focusing on machine learning infrastructure. Previously, Rui held tech lead and management roles at MongoDB and DiDi, overseeing teams specializing in vector search and planning systems. With a strong background in software engineering, Rui has worked at Waymo and Google, and completed research internships at Hewlett Packard Labs and HP Labs. Rui holds a Bachelor of Science in Automation from Tsinghua University and a combined MS/PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
