Ilya Breyman has an extensive work experience beginning in 2002. Ilya started as an E-commerce Manager for Luxaris, followed by an Internship at Ward Howell International in 2006. That same year, they were a Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution, a Researcher and Reference Assistant at Georgetown University's CERES Library, and a Marketing Manager at Interfax America. In 2007, they became a Practice Leader for Public and Social Sector at Ward Howell. In 2014, they became an Advisor and Board Observer at CoFoundersLab. In 2012, they became a Managing Director at Talent Equity Ventures (TEqV) and in 2015, they became the Founder and CEO of Coursalytics.

Ilya Breyman has an extensive education history. Ilya obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. Ilya also obtained a M.A. in Russian, Eurasian and Eastern European Studies from Georgetown University, as well as a BSFS in International Politics (Foreign Policy Process) and an Honors Certificate in International Business Diplomacy from the same university. Ilya also obtained a Certificate of Completion in Chinese Language and Culture from East China Normal University. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Entrepreneurship Strategy from Wharton Interactive in November 2021, Introduction to Marketing from Coursera in April 2017, Introduction to Financial Accounting and Introduction to Operations Management from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2016 and August 2016 respectively, R Programming from Coursera Verified Certificates in August 2015, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates in July 2015.
