Ashley Yien

Ashley Yien has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ashley started their career as a Sales Associate at MUJI Canada in December 2017, where they worked until September 2018. Ashley then joined Little Burgundy Shoes as a Sales Associate in December 2018 and worked until January 2020.

In December 2019, Ashley became an Editorial Illustrator at The Peak Publications Society and worked until January 2021. Ashley then worked at Power House Marketing Inc. as a Freelance Photographer and Videographer from August 2020 to August 2021. As a Freelance Photographer, they captured high-quality images and edited them for various purposes. As a Videographer, they produced walk-through videos for real estate properties and handled all aspects of video production.

In May 2021, Ashley joined Zen Maker Lab as a Design Projects Instructor. Ashley conducted lessons on 3D modeling and printing for students aged 7-12. Additionally, they assisted the marketing team by creating promotional videos and photos and designing branded merchandise to enhance the company's online presence. Their role at Zen Maker Lab ended in September 2021.

Currently, Ashley Yien is working at Course Studio, starting in January 2022. Ashley began as a Junior Designer and transitioned into the role of Product Designer in April 2023.

Ashley Yien attended Simon Fraser University from 2017 to 2023, where they pursued a degree in Interactive Arts and Technology with a focus on Design/Media (SIAT). In November 2022, Ashley also obtained a certification called "1000 Mentorship Minutes" from adplist.org.
