Alan Cardenas

Alan B. Cardenas serves as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Coursera, following a distinguished legal career with significant roles in various organizations. Previously, Alan held positions including Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Cardenas was the Head of U.S. Corporate Legal at Siemens Energy and served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the Siemens Foundation. Additionally, Cardenas has experience at Siemens, where responsibilities included Lead Counsel for Central Functions and Senior Counsel for M&A and Corporate Transactions. Alan B. Cardenas holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Rutgers University and a law degree from Rutgers Law School. Alan is also a Charter Member of TechGC.
