Jonathan Hasak

Jonathan Hasak serves as the Senior U.S. Public Sector Partnerships Lead at Coursera since April 2022, demonstrating a robust background in public policy and education. Previously, Jonathan held various roles at Year Up, including Senior Director of Scalable Solutions and Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs. Additional experience includes the position of Associate Director for Youth Programs at MassHire Metro North Workforce Board, along with roles in education as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Data Inquiry Facilitator at Boston Public Schools, and Special Education Teacher at Oakland Unified School District. Jonathan's early career included being a Corps Member with Teach For America and teaching English in Israel. Academically, Jonathan holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Education from Harvard, and a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College.
