Sarah Strong

Sarah Strong is a Senior Software Engineer at Coursera since June 2021, where responsibilities include leading the educator admin team and enhancing backend performance. Previously, as Lead Developer at Majority Labs, Sarah developed a React and Rails application for voter engagement, creating a comprehensive in-browser call center with Twilio integration. Sarah's experience also includes launching a car sharing website at Vilmari, building food delivery apps at BreakfastMe, and working on subscription systems at Amazon. Early career roles involve software development for mobile applications and teaching assistant duties, alongside participation in the Google Summer of Code program. Sarah holds an HBSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
