Eric Whitton

Eric Whitton started their work experience in 1994 as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Merastar Insurance Company. In 1997, they joined Covenant Transport Services as the Director IT, and later held the role of Vice President, Information Technology from December 2009 to March 2018. Currently, they are the SVP Technology at Covenant Transport Services.

Eric Whitton obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which they attended from 1983 to 1988. Eric then pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in IT from Chattanooga State Community College, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Later, Eric obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business from the University of West Georgia, attending from 2004 to 2006. Eric also possesses various certifications, including the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2015, and multiple LinkedIn certifications in executive leadership, remote management, strategic thinking, risk management strategy, unconscious bias in recruiting, and interpersonal communication.
