Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson has an extensive background in provider contracting, network development, and system transformation. They held various roles at BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York from 2008 to 2011, including Supervisor of Corporate Provider Service and Network Services Manager. Following that, they served as Call Center Manager at LocalNet from 2005 to 2008 and as Network Relations Director at Anthem, Inc. from 2016 to 2018. Steve was the Director of Network Management at Coventry Workers' Comp Services from 2020 to 2021 and also worked as the Director of Value Based Payment and Performance at Millennium Collaborative Care from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are the Vice President of Network Management at Coventry Workers' Comp & Auto Networks while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at the State University of New York College at Buffalo. Steve holds a Master of Applied Science in Population Health Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, earned between 2019 and 2021.
