Rex Yang

Rex Yang is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing high-performance applications and systems. Currently employed at Cover Genius since January 2021, Rex previously worked at Lightspeed HQ from October 2018 to December 2020, focusing on point-of-sale products and back-office web applications using technologies such as PHP Yii, NodeJS, and ReactJS. Prior experience includes a role at RentBetter from November 2017 to October 2018, where Rex contributed to the development of the RentBetter platform, and a position at Small Prophet from July 2017 to December 2017, specializing in RESTful APIs for an iOS game app using the PHP Laravel framework. Rex holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from UNSW, obtained between 2016 and 2018.
