Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Nathan currently holds the position of Area Business Lead at CoverCress Inc. since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Carbon Farming Adoption at Indigo from September 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Indigo, they worked at CiBO Technologies, where they held the roles of Senior Agricultural Analyst from August 2019 to October 2021 and Research Agronomist from April 2017 to October 2021. Prior to CiBO Technologies, Nathan worked as a Technical Agronomist at The Climate Corporation from July 2013 to March 2017. Nathan began their career at Monsanto Company, where they served as a District Sales Manager from August 2002 to July 2013.

Nathan Smith attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1995 to 1997. During that time, they pursued a degree in Agri-Business and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Their field of study specifically focused on Agricultural Business and Management.
