If you only need your vehicle covered for a short amount of time, then temporary insurance through Covertime is designed for you.

You might want to borrow your parent’s car for a shopping trip, maybe you want to share the driving with friends, you could be moving house, looking to test drive your dream car, or need to insure a car in an emergency at the last minute.

Whatever your reason, we're here to help.

At Covertime, we've put our heart and soul into making sure that it's as easy as humanly possible to get your car insured in the short term.

You can do it all online in just a few simple steps, which take just a couple of minutes.

You don't have to worry about the existing insurance on the vehicle, as any claims made on the temporary cover will not have any negative impact on the main annual policy's No Claim Discount.

Therefore, the car owner can have peace of mind that lending their car will not result in more expensive insurance for them next year should an accident occur.

The real beauty of temporary car insurance comes from what it allows you to do...

It can enable a last minute adventure with friends, help you buy a new car and get it home, avoid having to grab an expensive cab, get away for the weekend to somewhere fun with family, borrow a car and get away for a few days to a hotel, an Airbnb even a festival; the possibilities are endless.

We want to help you achieve your plans, your trips, your dreams... effortlessly and without breaking the bank!

Just buy the insurance for the length of time you need: no more, no less; it’s your call.

Insurance shouldn’t be a blocker; it should be an enabler.

It should be painless not painful.

It should be quick not laborious.

It should suit your budget, not break it.

This is our mission.
