Brian Foley has over three decades of experience in claims examination and resolution, specializing in medical professional liability and general liability claims. Starting career at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield as an Account Service Administrator from June 1988 to 1996, Brian then worked as a Claims Examiner at Travelers from 2003 to January 2005 and at MLMIC from January 2005 to April 2019. Subsequently, Brian joined Sedgwick as a Sr. Professional Liability Claim Specialist from May 2021 to April 2025. Currently serving as a Senior Claim Consultant at Coverys since March 2025, Brian also had a brief tenure as a Claims Consultant at Cool Insuring Agency Inc. in mid-2020. Brian holds a Master’s Degree in Science, Health Services Administration from The Sage Colleges-Sage Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Public Communications from The College of Saint Rose.
