Allen Botha

Allen Botha is an experienced project and engineering manager with a career spanning over several companies in the chemical and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Project Engineering Manager at Tyal International LLC and Engineering Manager at Covestro, Botha successfully completed the electrical infrastructure upgrade project for the Makrolon unit on schedule and under budget. Previous roles include Project Manager at Ascend Performance Materials, managing plant additions and retrofits, and Principal Project Engineer at JGC America, leading the USGC CPChem Ethylene Project. Botha held managerial roles at Carnegie Strategic Design Engineers and SNC Lavalin, focusing on process, piping, mechanical engineering, and proposal development for various gas processing and chemical retrofits. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Natal Technikon, Botha's extensive expertise includes project management, engineering procedures, and overseeing large-scale contracts and constructions in the oil refinery sector.
