Fei Lin

Fei Lin is a seasoned technical manager specializing in 3D printing at Covestro since January 2018, following experience as a senior R&D engineer at PolyOne from July 2014 to January 2018. Prior to this, Fei Lin worked as a research assistant at The University of Akron from August 2009 to May 2014, where the initiation of the poly (ester urea) project and the organization of the synthesis and processing team occurred. Earlier roles include a research scientist intern at Schneller, focusing on flame-retarding adhesives for aerospace applications from November 2012 to September 2013, and a research scientist intern at Akron Polymer Systems, Inc., where amino acid-based poly (ester urea) for tissue engineering was developed in early 2012. Fei Lin began as a research assistant at Nankai University from 2007 to 2009, contributing to the development of polymer-supported reagents for organic synthesis. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Nankai University and a graduate degree from The University of Akron.
