Jiajun Chen

Jiajun (J.J.) Chen, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of analytical engineering and sensor technology, currently serving as a Process Analytical Technology Engineer at Covestro since January 2020. Prior to this role, Jiajun held positions as a Senior Analytical Systems Engineer at Emerson Automation Solutions, where responsibilities included leading design initiatives for gas and liquid analyzer systems and supporting global field service engineers. Jiajun's extensive experience includes roles as a Product Engineer specializing in resistivity sensors, a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on chemical and gas sensors, and various research positions at reputable universities. Educationally, Jiajun holds a PhD in Engineering and Applied Sciences from the University of New Orleans, complemented by Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Materials Physics and Chemistry and Electronic Materials and Devices from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
