Mark Morris

Mark Morris is a Principal R&D Scientist I at Covestro LLC, where they have been since 2007, focusing on MALDI surface imaging and high molecular weight characterization of polymers. With a strong background in Physical Organic Chemistry and various instrumental experiences, Mark supports internal business units by de-formulating competitive materials and addressing customer complaints. Prior to this role, they worked as a Mass Spectrometry Technician/Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from 2000 to 2007, contributing to organic chemistry research and training users on mass spectrometry techniques. Mark holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Chemistry from PennWest California, where they graduated summa cum laude.
