Martijn Westermann

Martijn Westermann is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as Global Quality Manager at Covestro since April 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the quality and performance of thermoplastic materials for additive manufacturing. In addition, Martijn holds the position of Chair of the Works Council at Covestro Geleen. Prior to this, a long tenure at DSM from September 1996 to March 2021 included roles such as Global Technical Product Manager for additive manufacturing materials, where similar quality management responsibilities were undertaken, and involvement in the Works Council representing DSM Engineering Plastics. Martijn's extensive experience also encompasses product development and engineering roles, coupled with a strong educational background from Delft University of Technology, complemented by earlier academic achievements at Huygens Lyceum and Prins Willem Alexander school.
