Patrick Klein

Patrick Klein is an accomplished professional in the field of polymer chemistry with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as Lab Manager for Development Polycarbonate Blends at Covestro since August 2022, Patrick focuses on the development of new blend partners. Prior to this role, Patrick worked at the CAT Catalytic Center Aachen as Team Lead and Postdoctoral Scientist, specializing in the synthesis and development of high-performance materials from renewable resources. Patrick's academic background includes a PhD, MS, and BS in Polymer Chemistry from Bergische Universität Wuppertal, along with research experience as a Research Associate and a Visiting PhD Student at prestigious institutions. Early career experience includes working as a Working Student at Vaillant Group.
