Riggs Botta

Riggs Botta is a highly experienced professional in the procurement and supply chain sector, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Commodities & Procurement Lead for NAFTA at Covestro LLC since January 2017. Prior to this, Riggs Botta spent over 27 years at Bayer MaterialScience, where roles included Director of Regional Procurement, where leadership of a diverse procurement team within the US was undertaken since 2012, and Procurement Lead for Intermediate & Additives Chemicals NAFTA, focusing on developing procurement strategies and negotiating contracts for raw materials. Additional experience includes serving as National Accounts Sales Manager, achieving significant sales growth by securing major customer conversions, and earlier roles as Raw Material Buyer and Supply Chain Specialist, where skills in sourcing, negotiation, and innovative cost reduction strategies were developed. Riggs Botta earned a degree from Penn State University between 1986 and 1990.
