Silvan Geara

Silvan Geara has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as 2nd Plant Manager at Covestro since June 2018. In this role, Silvan demonstrates leadership in team management, development of Circular Economy processes, and oversight of safety assessments. Previous positions at Covestro include Project Manager, where Silvan managed engineering projects with budgets up to 2 million euros, and Lead Process Engineer, responsible for large-scale permitting projects with budgets up to 25 million euros. Earlier experience includes a role as Process Engineer focusing on process design and equipment engineering, as well as a trainee position in process development. Silvan Geara holds a Master of Science in Process Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Process Engineering from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences.
