Thomas Braig is the Executive Vice President and Head of the Business Entity Elastomers at Covestro, a global leader in cast polyurethane solutions. From 2017 to 2022, they served as President and CEO of Covestro Elastomers SAS, following various leadership roles in marketing and management within Covestro and Bayer. Braig also held the position of Head of Global Marketing Strategy and Project Portfolio Management and directed the EcoCommercial Building Program for the EMEA region. They earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree from the Technical University of Munich in 2000.
