Ziling Luo

Ziling Luo is a Data Scientist at Covestro since July 2022, with a strong background in computational chemistry and machine learning. Prior to this role, Ziling served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University from September 2015 to July 2022, focusing on developing a pKa predictor using machine learning methods driven by chemical principles. Ziling also gained experience as a Software Developer at Synaptive Medical in early 2021, where involvement in the NSERC-CREATE program led to the development of automated verification report generation for an image processing pipeline. Ziling's academic qualifications include a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from McGill University and bachelor's degrees in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham and Sun Yat-sen University.
