Charles Beard

Charles (Chuck) Beard has extensive experience in corporate procurement and operations management, most recently serving as a Category Manager in Corporate Procurement at Covia from May 2010 until retirement. Prior to Covia, Chuck held positions at Fairmount Minerals as Corporate Purchasing/Business Innovation and at Wesco International, where management of Pfizer’s indirect inventory stocking sites was executed. Chuck’s previous roles at SPX Corporation involved directing operations and purchasing for multiple facilities, successfully implementing new product launches and leading initiatives that enhanced operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Educational credentials include certifications in Lean Manufacturing Principles from the University of Kentucky and Management from the University of Notre Dame.
