Anton Kovnir

Anton Kovnir has extensive experience in product management, with a focus on digital insurance, iGaming technology, HR tech analytics, and travel websites. Anton started their career in 2006 as a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Otpusk.com, Ukraine's largest travel metasearch engine. From 2012 to 2014, they continued in a similar role at Turpravda.com, Ukraine's largest travel website. In 2014, they joined SignalHire as a Senior Product Manager, where they worked on an HR Tech analytics platform. In 2016, they became a Senior Product Manager Mobile at BETLAB, an iGaming technology provider. At BETLAB, they led mobile channels and drove integrations with payment service providers and fraud detection systems. In 2017, they joined ELEMENT Insurance as a Product Owner and later became a Senior Product Owner. Anton spearheaded the implementation of a companywide OKR goal-setting framework and led agile cross-functional teams. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at wefox as a Lead Product Manager and later as a Group Product Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product at COVU, and from May 2023, they will take on the role of VP Product. With their diverse experience, Anton Kovnir has demonstrated expertise in product management and driving innovation in various industries.

Anton Kovnir holds a Master's degree in Web Science from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Anton pursued this degree from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialist degree in Economics from the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy." Anton completed their economics degree from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Anton has acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These certifications include "ColumbiaX: Data Science and Analytics in Context (3 course XSeries)" from edX, obtained in April 2016, "BerkleyX: Engineering SAAS (with Ruby on Rails)" from edX, obtained in October 2014, and "GreyCampus: Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep - 35 contact hours" from Udemy, obtained in July 2014.
