Jotham Vizard

Jotham Vizard has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in the field of transportation infrastructure and engineering. Jotham has held various leadership positions at companies such as COWI, Posford Duvivier, and Kajima.

At COWI, they served as the Senior Vice President for Transportation International, where they led a business unit of 450 employees focused on the growth of COWI's international transportation market. Jotham collaborated with teams in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, and North America to develop and implement strategies for major pursuits in the transportation infrastructure sector.

Prior to this role, Jotham was the Senior Vice President for Tunnel and Underground Infrastructure at COWI, responsible for the strategic growth and delivery of large multidisciplinary projects in this sector. Jotham also served on the board for COWI subsidiaries in the UK, Gulf, and North America.

Before joining COWI, Jotham held the position of Vice President for Tunnels and Underground Structures at COWI, where they led the expansion of the department's service offerings, resources, and business development efforts.

Additionally, Jotham has experience as the Managing Director of COWI India (P) Ltd, overseeing the establishment and development of the company's operations in India, particularly in the field of digital mapping and GIS applications. Jotham played a crucial role in setting up offices in Chennai and Bangalore and defining the organizational structure and technical procedures.

Earlier in their career, Jotham worked as a Maritime Engineer at Posford Duvivier, where they were involved in the design of coastal and maritime projects and played a key role in the design team for the Canary Wharf Underground Metro Station.

Furthermore, Jotham worked as a Construction Manager at Kajima, where they managed the construction of three bridges over waterways in Vietnam. Jotham established three regional offices and oversaw the construction management team, including programming construction works, developing construction methods, and ensuring financial control.

With their extensive experience and expertise in transportation infrastructure and engineering, Jotham Vizard has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.

Jotham Vizard attended The University of Sheffield from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering. In 2023, they also attended IMD for a short course in Orchestrating Winning Performance.
