Lars Thorstholm

Lars Thorstholm is an experienced executive advisor specializing in renewable energy with about 35 years of management and leadership experience in the Mid-/Downstream oil industry. They have held multiple significant roles, including Executive Advisor at Quantafuel and Renewable Fuel Advisor at Stiesdal Fuel Technologies A/S. Lars has extensive expertise in the power-to-X value chain and has served in various senior management positions at Statoil, including Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of their operations in Malaysia. Additionally, they were the chairman of the board of the Danish Petroleum Employers Association and have contributed valuable insights as a member of multiple advisory boards. Lars holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
