Malcolm Hicks has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering and sustainability, currently serving as an Associate Geotechnical Engineer and Sustainability Advisor at Beca since March 2022, and previously held the position of Senior Geotechnical Engineer at COWI since May 2018. Prior to these roles, Malcolm worked at Fugro GeoServices as a Geotechnical Engineer from 2016 to 2018 and completed a tenure at Beca Ltd as a Geotechnical Engineer from 2012 to March 2016. Malcolm began the career as a Student Intern at SKM from 2007 to 2009. Academically, Malcolm holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering Geology from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geophysics from The University of Auckland.
