Michael Bindseil

Michael Bindseil is the Executive Vice President, Business Line International at COWI. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.

Michael started their career at COWI in 1992 as a project engineer. Michael then became a project manager and eventually rose to the position of Senior Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for the Danish operations of COWI.

In 2012, they became the Project Director for Cityringen, a metro line in Copenhagen. The project was completed in 2016, and they then took on their current role at COWI.

Michael Bindseil is a highly respected figure in the engineering and construction industry. Michael is a member of several professional organisations, and they are a frequent speaker at industry events.

Michael Bindseil has a Master's in Civil Engineering from the Danish Technical University and an Executive MBA from the IMD Business School. Michael also has a certificate in Leading Professional Service Firms from Harvard Business School and an Accelerated Development Program certificate from the London Business School.

They are on a team with Anders Wiktorson - EVP, Business Line Sweden, Marius Weydahl Berg - Regional VP, Norway, and Jens Højgaard Christoffersen - EVP, Group Chief Business Development Officer. Their manager is Lars-Peter Søbye, President & CEO.
