Umer Ilyas

Umer Ilyas has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. In 2011, they started their career as a Design Engineer (R&D) at KBK Electronics (Pvt.) Ltd., where they were responsible for firmware development for a static three phase energy meter. In 2013, they moved to Powersoft19 as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where they designed and implemented embedded safety critical applications. In 2014, they became Co-founder & CTO at E4 Technologies, specializing in fast track multi-disciplinary product development. Finally, in 2015, they became Co-Founder & CTO at Cowlar, where they helped dairy farms and pharma sector make informed decisions about cows. During the COVID 19 pandemic, they also started another business unit called Cowlar Design Studio.

Umer Ilyas attended the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a BE in Mechatronics Engineering.
