Derek Wright

Derek Wright is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business analysis and human resources information systems. Currently serving as a Business Process Analyst II at Cox Communications since March 2022, Derek previously held the position of HRIS Analyst at the City of Gainesville, where responsibilities included analysis and reporting for various stakeholders. Prior experience at Cox Business involved roles as Sr. Order Coordinator and Order Coordinator I, focusing on contract negotiations, operational improvements, and customer support initiatives. Derek began a career in technical support at Cox Communications, achieving high customer satisfaction and resolution rates, and has also worked as a Communications Representative for the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Derek holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University, along with an Associate’s degree from Santa Fe College.
