Heather Blum

Heather Blum has over a decade of experience in telecommunications, beginning as a Network Surveillance Specialist at Sprint Nextel from 1997 to 1998, where troubleshooting and dispatching were key responsibilities for the CDMA network. Blum further developed expertise at Cox Communications between 2000 and 2010, serving in multiple roles including Telephony Network Engineer, III, where engineering TDM services and project management for Telcordia Granite IMS implementation were significant accomplishments. As a Manager of Cox Business Operations, Blum led technical teams, contributing to significant revenue through high-quality Ethernet and SONET installations. Additional positions included Test Desk Lead, directing a team of technicians, and Transport Operations Supervisor, where supervision of a twelve-member team on complex installations and maintenance tasks was achieved. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University and a Master of Arts in Management from the University of Redlands.
