Brian Cox

Brian Cox is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Cox Enterprises since June 2021. Prior to this role, Brian held multiple leadership positions at Cox Communications, including Executive Director of Information Security and Director of IT Security Operations, overseeing critical functions such as customer security, incident response, and threat detection. Earlier experience includes a tenure at ING U.S. where Brian served as IT Security Director focusing on threat management and eDiscovery. Brian holds an MBA in General Management and Leadership from the University of Georgia and a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from WSU Carson College of Business.
